Terms of Use

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Who provides Bilinga

Kenny Lee, in Hong Kong, provides Bilinga, a picture dictionary for children. These terms are between you and Kenny Lee.

If you download Bilinga for a child, you agree as their parent or guardian.

Apple’s license, and these terms

Apple’s standard End User License Agreement applies to the app. These terms add to that agreement. They do not replace it. Where Apple’s agreement and these terms both cover the same point, Apple’s agreement controls for the parts it covers.

Your license

Kenny Lee gives you a personal license to use Bilinga for your family, on Apple devices you own or control, under the App Store’s rules. These terms apply whether or not you pay.

Subscriptions and the one-time purchase

You can use the dictionary without paying. Bilinga Plus is optional.

Apple sells and bills every purchase. Prices are shown in the App Store in your currency. Kenny Lee never sees your payment details.

Bilinga Plus is available monthly or yearly. A monthly or yearly subscription renews on its own unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, Apple starts the paid yearly subscription.

You manage or cancel a subscription in the device’s Settings, under your Apple account’s subscriptions (Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions). Parent Zone, which opens only after the parental gate, also has Manage subscription. Restoring a purchase is there too.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by Kenny Lee.

Bilinga Plus Lifetime is a one-time purchase for the family. It never renews. It unlocks Bilinga Plus, including up to four children, without a subscription.

One purchase can be shared with the buyer’s family through Apple’s Family Sharing.

The words and pictures

The words, pictures, and readings are carefully made and reviewed. They are provided as they are. Bilinga does not promise that they are fit for an exam, a school course, or any particular result.

Who owns the app

The illustrations, the word content, and the design of Bilinga belong to Kenny Lee. These terms do not give you ownership of them.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Kenny Lee is not liable for indirect loss, or for lost progress, lost data on your device, or a result the app did not deliver. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Disputes are heard by the courts of Hong Kong. This does not take away any consumer protections you have under the laws of your own country.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version is posted on this page and the date above changes. The version on this page is the one that applies.
